Job Description

Job description:
Accounts Payable / Compliance Clerk (akin to Code Enforcement)

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
This position will have split responsibilities, both in accounts payable and assisting with Deed Restriction enforcement.
Under the direction of the Director of Accounting, this position will prepare invoices for approval, and after receiving all approvals, will prepare checks for signature. The successful candidate will meet or exceed these requirements. This is a responsibility that takes significant attention to detail, as well as an understanding of proper accounts payable procedures, and will be responsible to ensure that all procedures are properly followed. All invoices must be handled in a timely manner to be sure NTRCA’s invoices are paid according to the approved terms. Experience with statement reconciliation is required.
Under the direction of the Compliance Manager, this position will prepare correspondence to go out on a daily basis, will track such letters so that management receives reports in a timely fashion, and will answer phone calls and emails seeking information. Experience with an HOA in Compliance is a definite plus, or experience in a city Code Enforcement Department. The successful candidate will exhibit a great attention to detail and will be able to prepare letters and other documentation, without monitoring. Must have good grammar skills.
The position requires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. HOA experience is preferred but not required. NTRCA is a very busy office, and the successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced office, with multiple obligations. Focus and determination to meet the requirements are necessary. Must perform responsibilities efficiently and effectively, promoting a positive image of NTRCA, and must be willing to go the extra mile to be sure that issues are resolved in a positive and timely fashion. Those who do not have the above mentioned qualifications will not be considered. NTRCA has a very good package of benefits for the right candidate: salary commensurate with abilities.
