Job description:
The City of Fort Worth, Department of Transportation and Public Works is seeking a Survey Supervisor to supervise, assign, review and participate in the work of employees responsible for performing boundary, preliminary construction and as-constructed surveying.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who has a strong background in construction and land surveying; project management; strong interpersonal and leadership skills; and excellent communication skills. A thorough understanding of local government surveying is a plus.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in land or construction surveying or related field with four (4) years of responsible construction and land surveying experience including one year of administrative and/or lead supervisory experience. The possession of the Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) License is required. The possession of or en route to obtaining, registration as a Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the State of Texas is also required. GPS experience preferred.

Candidates must possess a valid Class “C” driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
