Job description:
The City of Cibolo has an opening for a Records Clerk in the Police Department. This position performs a variety of routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work including answering central phone system, greeting the public, perform document preparation and file maintenance on computer, processing open records requests, providing customer service, cashiering and data processing. The position will serve as the Terminal Agency Coordinator for TLETS and is responsible for quality control of offense, arrest, accident, and incident reports as well as preparation of UCR and related reports. Performs related work as required.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
High School diploma or GED; two (2) years previous experience and/or training involving record keeping/clerical duties; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Requires typing skill of 40 wpm. Must process NCIC/TCIC and TLETS certifications and have experience with the preparation of Uniform Crime Reports. Must be able to pass a rigid background investigation and a physical/drug test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with the Texas Public Information Act, Cardinal BadgeSE RMS/CAD, Quetel Property Room Management softward and STW Financial systems.
