Job description:
Duties will include working in administration, courts, utilities and inspections. Must be able to communicative effectively with the public in English and Spanish in person, on the telephone and through correspondence on a daily basis. Must be able to type and mail correspondence and able to handle and solve complaints. Cashier duties will include collecting fines, bond payments, permit fees and utility payments. Must balance cash drawer and prepare a daily cash report. Able to perform clerical duties of the administrative offices, municipal courts and water department. Performs work efficiently and accurately. Prepares records for storage, issue permits, and all other duties as assigned by administrative offices, municpal court, and water department.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED; at least 5 years of clerical experience; customer service skills, must be computer literate and able to work Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, 10-key calculator, fax machine, postage machine, copier, electronic mail and other computer software. Pre-employment physical and drug screen required.
