Job description:
Responsible for the preparation of the annual budget in conjunction with the Municipal Court Director; Tracks all department expenses, ensures accurate account reconciliation, monitors expenditures, creates revenue analysis projection, trend analysis and development of revenue estimates; Prepares reports for departmental use; Enforces City policy in collecting and processing reimbursements; Plans strategies and implements proposals to increase work flow and, with the assistance of the Chief Deputy Court Clerk, studies methods and procedures to establish departmental policies and procedures; Reviews changes to laws that govern the Municipal Court; Makes recommendations concerning these laws as they pertain to appropriate divisions; Disseminates information to appropriate division and establishes internal deadlines to meet required dates of implementation. Responds to all public inquiries; Prepares press/media releases for the Director on all matters pertaining to operations of Municipal Court; Makes administrative decisions in the absence of the Director; Performs administrative duties such as interviewing applicants, developing interview questions, and providing support in employee disciplinary actions; Responsible for daily review of departmental projects. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of directly related experience in the essential duties of this position. A combination of education and experience may be considered. A valid Texas driver's license at time of application and hire are required.
