Job description:
Provide highly responsible administrative staff assistance to the City Manager including calendar management, special projects, customer service, routine administrative support, and records management.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
Bachelor degree preferred, but extensive experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Three-year employment in related position preferred, education considered in lieu of experience. Must possess considerable knowledge of office management and project management skills; and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is required. Must be able to deal with the public in a courteous, diplomatic manner; punctuality and regular attendance is required. Ability to compose and proof correspondence with strong spelling and grammar skills; high organization skills; ability to recognize and maintain confidential information; ability to work well with elected officials, supervisors, co-workers, and general public; ability to work in fast-paced environment; ability to maintain a valid Texas Driver’s license.
