Our champion employees are a driving factor for making Sugar Land “One of America's Best”. The Airport has an opening for a Airport Services Representative.

An energetic person is needed to provide customer service on a full-time basis at the GlobalSelect FBO located at Sugar Land Regional Airport (SGR). This position contributes to the courteous, safe and efficient handling of passenger, aircrew and other customers of the Airport. This person is a primary responder, assisting Airport customers with inquiries and problems in person and by telephone pertaining to current fuel prices, rates for services offered, and general area information.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Our objective is to select a person having the abilities and skills to prepare documents without errors in grammar, spelling or punctuation; remains organized and prioritizes work; uses time effectively to accomplish tasks; communicates effectively both orally and in writing; interacts professionally with the public and public/private officials and works closely and harmoniously with others to accomplish tasks. This person will be able to: research, compile and summarize a variety of informational and statistical data; make independent judgments and manage multiple projects; establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization; communicate effectively with all levels of staff, consultants, contractors, and the public; maintain confidential information; and follow oral and written directions.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent GED and one-year of previous experience in customer relations. Preference will be given to those candidates who possess FBO (Fixed Based Operator) experience and knowledge of aviation terminology. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is a must. Ideal candidates will have an outstanding knowledge of the rules of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation plus computer software such as Word, Excel, GroupWise, AS400, and the Internet.
