Job description:
Must have professional demeanor and appearance and be able to maintain a positive rapport with citizens, city employees, and officials, and be team and goal oriented. Must be able to produce and originate professional correspondence, respond in a timely manner, and be able to function and resolve problematic issues with minimal supervision. Good range of computer skills, including time and attendance. Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Dependability and punctuality required. Knowledge of municipal government operations preferred.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
Minimum qualifications include exceptional administrative and organizational skills in office management, purchasing, budget preparation and monitoring, records management, and project planning, implementation, and tracking. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred plus five years of administrative experience, including two years in a leadership role.
