Position Summary:
The City Manager plans, organizes, fiscally controls, reviews and evaluates - directly or through delegation - the operations, programs, services and personnel performance of the Town of Pantego; executes the policies and programs determined by the elected Town Council; ensures adherence to the annual budget; ensures development and execution of strategic plans; ensures the general needs of Pantego's citizens are known and served, while complying with applicable laws and regulations.

Education, training, experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university, preferably in public administration, finance, business, or a related field closely applicable to municipal management. Minimum (5) years of progressive administrative municipal management experience. Knowledge of theory, principles, practices and techniques of organization design and development, strategic and long-range planning, public administration, municipal budgeting, financial administration, purchasing, maintenance of public records, applicable state and federal laws; Town ordinances and personnel policies, techniques of sound business communications and effective public relations. Requires knowledge of operations of a general municipal government.
