Job description:
Under general direction of the Director of Financial Services, performs
reconciliations of major subsidiary systems to the General Ledger including bank
accounts, investment pool accounts, and accrued liabilities, files state tax returns
and also prepares and posts a variety of monthly journal entries. This position
issues special purpose financial reports including quarterly investment report and
monthly financial reports and provides support for the annual audit including
preparation of schedules, financial statements, and annual CAFR. In addition,
this position oversees Utility Services.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES - Any combination of experience and
training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Minimum of 3 years of increasingly responsible technical accounting support.
Experience in a municipal finance environment preferred.

Equivalent to High school diploma or G.E.D. required. A minimum of 12 college
accounting hours from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor
Degree in Accounting preferred.

License or Certificate:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Texas driver's license.
