We are currently seeking a General Maintenance Worker I at the Sugar Land Regional Airport.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Sugar Land Regional Airport has an opening for a general maintenance worker I. The primary responsibilities will be to perform a variety of operations, maintenance, inspections and repair functions specifically related to general maintenance practices and airport equipment. This may include daily runway and taxiway inspections for light outages and malfunctions, and general maintenance functions. Performs finish mowing and rough-cut mowing of all Airport land, and performs building, equipment, plumbing and electrical repairs, as well as general landscaping. Has the aptitude to run some types of light equipment. Perform custodial duties in the terminal and other facilities.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•HS diploma or GED
•6-12 months relatable maintenance experience.
•Familiarity with fixed base operations and previous airport experience preferred.
•Valid Class “C” Texas Driver’s License.
•Must be able to work in extreme conditions, communicate clearly by radio and phone, and lift up to 60 lbs.
