The Aviation Department at the Sugar Land Regional Airport is seeking a Flight Line Crew Technician to perform a variety of operations related to aircraft and airport equipment. Marshal aircraft in and out on arrival and departure, including monitoring ramp area for customer security and performing daily runway inspections. Safely service and fuel all types of aircraft and airport equipment. Perform minor maintenance on airport equipment. Unload fuel transport trucks and record fuel distribution. Collect ramp fees and fuel charges. Obtain and record the differential pressure readings daily.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Minimum Requirements:
• High school graduate, GED or equivalent.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Two years of experience in a similar position or military service is required (discharge from military service must not be for bad conduct or dishonorable). Preference will be given to those candidates who possess FBO (Fixed Based Operator) experience and knowledge of aviation terminology.

Upon completion of in-house training candidates must be able to demonstrate safe handling of fuel products, knowledge and familiarity of all types of general aviation and corporate aircraft, and knowledge of towing all types of aircraft.
