Job description:
The City of Saginaw is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Records Clerk position. Applications will be accepted until position is filled. Work is performed under the general of the Police Captain. Utilizes and operates computers used in police operations, including computer entry, computer processing, extraction of computer information. Is the department's designated records custodian for court purposes. Responsible for maintaining records of all police calls for service, offense reports, case files, and jail documents.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
High School Dimploma or GED
Basic training in the use of police communications equipment and police computer system. Must have good telephone etiquette. Must be able to speak and deal tactfully and effectively with the general public. Must be able to communicate and understand written and oral instructions. Must be able to deal with job related stress effectively.
