Job description:
Supervises and monitors community service probationers as they abate illegal dumpsites and pick up litter in the City. Maintains foreclosed and City owned properties and supervises the community service walk-in site.

Attendance is an essential function of this position. The City reserves the right to require an employee to work overtime. As a City employee you are required to provide services or perform duties for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations. These may include services or duties different from those performed in the usual course and scope of your job. In the event of an evacuation you may be required to remain to perform needed services.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
2. Valid State of Texas Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
3. One year experience in code enforcement, community service, or related field.
4. Prior supervisory experience.
1. Two years Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
2. Code Enforcement Officer Certification.
3. Two years experience in code enforcement, community service, or related field.
4. Previous experience as a Community Service Supervisor.
5. Bilingual- Spanish
