Duties & Responsibilities:
• Performs and instructs such activities as arts and crafts, sports, games, and creative dramatics, etc.
• Good knowledge of a variety of recreational day camp activities and the ability to convey that knowledge into an organized activity.
• Some basic knowledge of childhood development.
• Good ability to maintain discipline.
• Some ability to prepare and maintain reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, training, experience:
Education/Experience/Requirements:
• Completion of one (1) year of college.
• Six months experience planning, coordinating, and implementing recreation programs for school age groups.
• Must be able to work May through August.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday.
• Position will be approximately 40 hrs. per week and holidays as needed.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• CPR and first aid certification or ability to get it within 30 days of hire.
• Must have a valid driver license prior to employment. (Must obtain Texas Class C driver license within 30 days of hire per State law.)
