Job description:
• Answer multiple phone lines, direct calls to appropriate staff personnel, and answer general questions from the public
• Receive incoming payments for Building Permits, Pet License, Estate/Garage Sales, and other miscellaneous items
• Receive incoming mail; separate and disperse to appropriate departments
• Cross-train with Police Secretary/Court Clerk and Executive Secretary to cover these positions as needed
• Other duties as determined by the City Manager, Assistant City Manger, and Executive Secretary

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
• Must have exceptional public relation and time management skills
• Proficiency in software programs including but not limited to Excel, Outlook and Word
• Must be able to handle citizens questions and concerns with tact and diplomacy
• Having the ability to multi-task and organize is key to this position
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associates Degree Preferred
• 2 years customer service, clerical, or administrative support experience
