Job description:
Full time Customer Service position responsible for:
Billing and collection of utility payments; processing new accounts and closing existing accounts; balance cash drawer daily in accordance with established policies and procedures; provide customer service through telephone and walk-in communications; address customer questions and concerns and refer to appropriate internal resources for resolution; foster teamwork and ensure a positive overall customer experience; adhere to internal processes, including legal, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customers; receive Service Order requests and convey to Public Works Staff

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Strong cash handling skills; High School Graduate or equivalent education certificate (GED) required; significant cash handling experience required; strong computer skills, Microsoft Office knowledge required; detail oriented, problem solver; excellent customer service and communication skills are essential; ability to adapt to changing work environments
High School Diploma or GED; Current valid Texas Driver’s License. Employment will be subject to a criminal background check and a drug test.
